Heartsaver CPR / AED Provider (C)

The Heartsaver AED (C) course teaches the lifesaving skills of 1-rescuer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and relief of choking in adults (with an option to include child and infants) along with barrier device/pocket mask use, and automated external defibrillator (AED) training. Participants learn to recognize and treat emergencies such as cardiac arrest, heart attack, stroke, and choking. This course is open to the general public and first responders who require a credentialed course.


Heartsaver (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillation (AED)

The Heartsaver Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillation (AED) course contains up-to-date content and science from the 2010 Guidelines for CPR and ECC. It is designed to teach lay rescuers the lifesaving skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and relief of choking in adults, children and infants, as well as how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) with both adults and children. (Training in infant and child CPR and choking relief are optional.) The course is designed for those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements.
